Does Mobile Bookmarks Sync To Desktop?

I have quite a few bookmarks on my Moto G's Chrome browser. Looking at the Sync feature, it is clear that bookmarks on a desktop Chrome browser will sync to a smartphone's Chrome browser.

But does it work the other way as well? If I have a fresh install of Chrome on the desktop, 0 bookmarks, will all the mobile bookmarks show up on the desktop Chrome? Would folder structure be preserved?

I would have gone ahead and synced but I want to make sure that the sync works both directions.

It's up to browsers. Most major browsers do.

Well, does the default Chrome browser on a Moto G running Android 4.4 do or not?

If you signed in with Chrome and setup for the bookmarks to sync, then it will sync with whatever other devices you signed in on Chrome as well. It's the same bookmarks.
