Does Microsoft HD-DVD add-on support Blu-Ray?

I was pre-ordering my HD-DVD drive for my 360 and the EB Games manager told me that the HD-DVD add-on for the 360 will support Blu-Ray after an update. I went along with it, but I'm skeptical. Anybody heard anything along those lines? However, if it will ...

Go back to EB-Games and tell him to stop spreading lies. What a dumb ass.

no. microsoft is probably only going to back hd-dvd unless blu-ray comes out on top, only then microsoft will support blu-ray.

however, vista will support both formats, but you need a 3rd party player (windvd, powerdvd, etc).

Sure. Also, you can use the engine from a Ford F-350 in a Kia Spectra after an update.

This is the reason I refuse to talk to the people that work at EB/Gamestop. They are so freaking STUPID!

You can pretty much put any engine into any car after an "update".

heh, I was just about to post that. I've been thinking of doing that to my car for a while now. If you buy the kit it's pretty much as easy as doing a simple engine and tranny swap. No cutting or welding is necessary. I'll probably do it once I have the funds and a place to work.

It's true! It'll support Blue-Ray and the upcoming Holographic emitter tech in the next three years...
