Does McAfee AV really only update it's virus definitions once a week?

It says the newest definitions are from Oct. 8th on the auto-update thingy.

Do they really only release virus updates once a week???

Norton & McAfee only update once a week as far as im aware 😕

There is no download link.

It says to click on some update thing in my start menu but that link dosent exist.. only thing there is the actuall virus scan program.

I use Symantec so I'm not sure which virus def files are needed for sure.
