does March of the Penguins suck? Or is it good?

Or does it suck. I am thinking about renting it. Is it good or does it suck?

It's a combination between a Disney movie and a National Geographic documentary.

If you don't enjoy either of those, you probably won't like MotP.

I watched it with my wife and it tugged at a number of emotions. When my daughter gets old enough to appreciate it, I'll enjoy watching it with her.

It's good. I watched a lot of nature documentaries growing up (PBS shows like National Geographic, Nature, NOVA, etc.) and March of the Penguins was really well done. I think part of the appeal for some people might have been that they hadn't seen a well done nature documentary before?

Go for it.

I thought it was horrible. If it had been 30 minutes and dropped some of the cutesiness it would've been fine. This movie soured me on ever seeing a feature-length nature documentary again.

I enjoyed it. A very well made documentary.

(makes me glad I'm not an Emperor penguin!)

Its a solid documentary. If you have an interest in animals, you will probably like this. Personally, I prefer movies about hyenas and lions!

I thought only Polar Bears were in danger?

Polar Bears are indeed fvcked, but that doesn't mean standing around in Antarctica as a Penguin would be fun :p
