Does Mandrake Support HPT-370 Raid Controller??

Just curious if anyone knew if mandrake supports the HPT-370 Raid Controller (ABIT KT7-Raid). I am planning on installing Mandrake 8, which just came out.

It supports the controller but I am not sure whether it supports the "raid" function of the controller.
 
until HP releases enough docs, Linux probably won't properly support the Raid functions. A binary kernel module is *NOT* proper support
