My wife (left handed) is having some carpal tunnel like hand issues at work, and thinks it might be from her mouse. She is wanting to try a trackball.

I love Logitech trackballs, and have a Logitech Marble here at home.

When I look, all I see on their website are wireless trackballs - which force you to mess with batteries and receivers. Did they truly do away with wired trackballs?

Also, I don't seem to see any left handed versions..... ugh.

I'm a lefty as well and have been using Kensington pro trackballs for years. I still have a wired one but primarily use my wireless one. It's bt and proprietary. Pricey but great.

"Mess with" just means plug them in. There's no configuration, the battery will last about a year.

She works at a large office, and is worried about either co-workers or cleaning crew stealing the trackball. She was hoping to "lock it down" by passing the wire through a small padlock fastened to something. They have issues with co-workers stealing peoples' lunch out of the fridge, (even if labeled) plus stealing cups and silverware items from the lunch room.
