I don't get any Spam from them. It's a great tool for business networking. Been able to get in touch with a number of former colleagues.

Well...I do not get spam, but I do keep getting invites from people I do not know....kind of annoying. SOme peopel use the site as a "look at me....I have this many contacts, so I must be important".

I have never (even before I signed up) gotten spam from people I don't know. If nothing else you should be able to sign up and then block all invites.
