Does Lexar CompactFlash go bad?

I have my nikon 950 digital camera

when i take pics, the pictures show up w/colored lines on the picture.

I sent the camera into the Nikon shop to get it fixed.

They sent it back and they said that it's fixed.

however, i tested it, and the same thing is going on.

Now I am guessing if it's my lexar compact flash that went bad...

has this happened to anyone?

isn't there some sort of warranty on the CF?
