Does leaving your computer on 24/7 produce a notable power increase?

It's been on 24/7 for two weeks now. It's a an Athlon 3500= 90nm with a 6800 GT.
Other factors could be playing a part, so I'm just wondering if it's possible that it's just the computer.

If the PC does not go into sleep mode, then it will pull about 160W of AC just idling. Let's assume that your electricity is 12 cents/KWH, then it will cost you about $14 to run the PC 24/7 for one month.

Only if you are running a Prescott;)

Seriously though, unless your KWH are extremely high, then there is no way that it would cost that much to run your PC.
