So once i've scanned with ad-aware and deleted the files will Kazaa run without spyware or will it re-install it? I think i'll switch over to Winmx or Morpheus but theres a few downloads I have to complete first

Yeah i had mass amounts of spyware from kazaa... I deleted it all, but Kazaa always keeps a list of your files in its program files in a folder marked db, and whenever you open the program the info is sent to the program, thus targeting the ads in the lower left corner. Basically, if you want to completely get rid of kazaa and its reporting files, you'd have to just delete it. Thats what i did.

you have to kill Kazaa process, run Ad-aware. It will remove spy ware. Kazaa will not run anymore too.
