i've been super sore the last 3 days... i'm wondering if a nice run on the treadmill will help me recover faster?

yes, if you run after you do anaerobic exercise it helps get rid of the build up of lactic acid in your muscles. it relieves some of the soreness duing the next day or two.

edit: as an example, when i am done pitching, i run around the field 3-4 times and my arm is not nearly as sore the next day when i do that compared to the days i dont.

Yup, adding a little jogging before and after makes a real difference for me. If I have the time, I do a 2-mile warmup and a 1-mile cool-down...
