Does it matter WHO makes a nVidia Quadro card?

I know in gaming rigs PNY, Asus, etc. make GeForce GTX cards and they all work the same with just slight overclocks and/or slight disabled features to make them expensive/cheaper.

Now, I wanted to ask if the same thing is true with the Quadro line.

No. They're all identical. NVIDIA's partners are only allowed to use the reference designs.

PNY makes all quadro cards for nvidia. They have the exclusive contract for that and have for a long time. Sapphire makes all FirePro and reference AMD cards
