hi,

i noted that....

I can overclock my FSB at 145...eg. my XP1800 to 1668 mhz.....but then the bios does not say "XP 1900+" anymore (like when the FSB is at 142)...but only "AMD Athlon at1668 mhz" (i think)...my bios likely doesnt recognize an XP 2000+ yet anyway :) (lol...they dont even sell them)

Question: Is there a point in overclocking only so much that the CPU is recognized right (eg AMD XP 1800+, 1900+) in the bios...or can i add some more MHZ with the bios not knowing what XP i have and just showing the mhz ??? Does it matter ?
