does it matter if i use 2 cylinder or 4 cylinder engine oil?

i accidently bought 2 cylinder but does it work regardless on lawnmowers?

cycle not cylinder and yes it does matter. they are completely different

and yes it might depending on if it is a gas mix oil or a straight oil. So get the right stuff.

yes sorry my bad, i meant 2 cycle and 4 cycle. the lawnmower i use has a separate oil and gasoline compartment.

YOUR mower probable takes a straight 30wt oil

Just buy some normal 10W-30 engine oil for your poor lawnmower.
