Does it make sense to upgrade to KT333 board now with KT400 coming soon?

Just looking for thoughts on the subject. I really want to upgrade, but with a new standard coming shortly I am apprehensive.

I don't think there is ever a good time to upgrade.
Nothing is ever the "newest thing" for very long,
so if you need to upgrade I would go for it now
because if you wait you could find yourself waiting
for a long time.

Jayczar's got it. That being said, I would never wait for KT400. DDR400 will never become a "standard" and to add, DDR400 will do nothing for the Athlon Platform, and finally, it'll be very expensive. Go pickup a KT333 and an XP 1800-2000+ or a i850 board with a 1.6A

Hey I'm in the same situation here... I need to upgrade badly. Can anyone recommend "the best" (stable, good performance, easy to use/OC) KT333 board with the newest VIA chipset?

The A7V333 is very nice, but a bit pricey. However if you're going to use the Raid, Firewire, and USB 2.0 it's not a bad buy. The MSI KT3 Ultra(-aru) are good boards as well.
