Question Does it make any difference which PCI-e power connectors I use?

I have a semi modular power supply. There is an 8 pin PCI-e connector and there are 4 modular PCI-e connections. Does it make any differnence which ones I use?

No, it generally doesn't, but why not just use the non-modular 8-pin if it's soldered in + any additional PCI-e cables? One less cable to manage in your system.

If the question is which of the modular slots you should use, it doesn't really matter.

Just make sure if your card had two PCI-e connectors, to use a separate power cable for each connector (don't use one cable with two pci-power connectors on it).

There are some edge case scenarios where two connectors on one cable can result in instability or worse.
