does it cost you to use 411 through your cell phone?

Yeah. I think it was $1.95 for T-Mobile. I've switched to ATT and I'm pretty sure it still costs me money.

yes, i get first 3 free the first month or something.. after that, a buck or two? all i know is it'll cost me money

I looked on my Cingular bill and it said $1.27 for 7 minutes. not sure if the minutes matter though.

7 minutes?? jeez... how many numbers did you ask for?

earlier today i dialed through and connected to 411, but i hung up.... is it a charge per call, or per minute for 411 service...

and it's not the same 411 resource as that of your local phone company (landline) is it... (well it would be if your wireless provider is also your landline local provider (verizon) but in such a case as Tmobile I mean.

you know.. the easiest thing for you to do would be to call them and ask. I don't think they'll charge you for that. And even if they do; it's what, a buck?

no they wont charge me for asking... but if they did, i wouldn't want to.. NOT because a buck is a lot, but it's the principle of not wanting to feed them any more than they get for their 39.99 plan, which after 9.99 in monthly 'taxes' of which are broken down into like 40 different kinds... your whole monthly bill is 50bucks.

in othe countries it costs people less money for a mobile phone. USA, different story.
