Yeah I don't know why some people say up when they mean down. They'll say "scroll up" and you're already at the top it's like "huh?".

Speaking of weird stuff like that, another thing that bothers me that's similar in nature is when there is a dial such as a thermostat and someone tells you to turn it left or right. How do you take a circular object that is fixed on it's center and make it go left or right? It's fixed into it's place and can only turn clockwise or counter clockwise. It cannot actually go in a direction.

I thought you were going a different way with this.

When people say "I'm going to turn the A/C up" ...meaning they are about to increase the reading on the thermostat.
