Does it bother you that fusetalk sends your password as plain text to your browser, where it's cached to disk?

even I know with a wide target customer base that you need to program software to meet as many people as possibles needs / platforms.

Even if those platforms make up only 1 to 5 percent of your visitors, here they have almost 100,000 users that is 1 to 5 THOUSAND users that the forums software is non complient with.

With more websites using this forum software that number exponentailly increases.

Just run the w3c checkers on these pages (even the default page) and you will see EXACTLY what I am talking about there are errors in the code that make the pages render incorrectly in most browsers (the only browser that I have found that renders the pages correctly is IE).

Don't get me wrong I am a huge Fusetalk and E-zone Media supporter, that being said one of my largest pissmeoff's is non compliant software / code, especially on websites.

The only thing I understood was "run the w3c checker"... care to write that again without the run-ons?

Was the question about the security of the password sitting on a users harddrive, or about the security of sending it between the server and browser?

As for white space in the code, that can be HIGHLY compressed, so it shouldnt be much of a bandwidth hog.
