Does iPhone delete voice mails after a month?

People still use whack?

To answer your question, the 3G iPhone uses visual voicemail, and if you want, you can save up to 40 messages at 4 minutes or less to on your phone.

So is there a bug in my voicemail?! Because I called once when, like, all my voicemail (the visual voicemail) was vaporized. I'd deleted some, but I didnt remember deleting them all, and I called Apple support, and was transfered to Att support (or maybe it was the other way around) and when the guy said there was no batch deletion of emails, I realized there was no way I could have killed them all. They were just gone. And now, the latest voicemail I have is from 3/2, and occasioanlly I keep older ones (drunk girls confessing their love, etc).

So it seems like it's only keeping them for 30 days. Are you saying it's not supposed to do that? I remember saying voicemails from Verizon for like 6 years.

Help?

Did you upgrade the firmware to the phone? That would remove the voicemails from the phone, but I would think that they would still be on the at&t voicemail system. I recall when I first got my iPhone, the at&t guy said you could get deleted voicemails for up to 30 days. I never had a reason to try it though, so he may have been just blowing smoke. Press 1 and see what's there.
