Does internal/external DSL Modem speed differ?

Actually, there is not a whole lot of difference except the internal don't have to use an external power supply.

With an internal you cant plug it into a DSL router.

Get the external.

If you absolutely sure that you would never have more then one computer and or you would Never use Wireless, or and you like using the "Quirky" PPPOE software. Then it does Not matter.

Otherwise get an External Ethernet DSL Modem (do not get USB modem even if they pay you), and a Cable/DSL Router.
