Does Intel DP965LT support 1.9V RAM?

The newer bioses are supposed to bump the voltage up to 1.9V if you go over 800MHz.

I wasn't able to get my 800MHz ram to run at 800MHz until they added that change to the bios. I wouldn't count on your memory working, because I don't think it will bump the voltage if it's only running at 533MHz.

Intel has a list of tested ram for the DP965LT on their website. I went with 2 gigs of Kingston DDR2-800 (KVR800D2N5K2) which was specifically tested by Intel to work with the 965 chipset. It costs a bunch ($323.99 at Newegg) so why take a chance if you know that works. I have heard that certain 1.9 volt ram will work but why take a chance when there is no advantage. It's not like that board is going to tolerate any overclocking.

If you already own it then try it out but if you have to buy ram for that board, go with what works.
