At first, I thought it was just a glitch on my computer. It gave me an "illegal operation etc..." message at the very end of the install. I had to restart my computer.
It did install properly, because Media Player runs now, but it was a real pain in the @#$ to have that problem. I thought I'd end up having to reinstall everything.

Now, i tried downloading the player to my girlfriend's computer (different setup, motherboard, etc..).......and I get the same problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🙁🙁

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggg!!!!!!!🙁

Crashed everything, had to turn of the power and restart.
Works on her computer now too.....but.....who wants to go thru that evrytime they install the program.

If this happens on 2 very different computers, it MUST be happening to others out there.

Right?

The same thing happened to me when I installed the latest version of ZoneAlarm, illegal op, reboot needed, then all seems ok. I did not trust it anymore so I uninstalled it and reinstalled ZoneAlarm 2.0 (no install illegal op then).

Yeap I'v had massive problems with mp7, I just can't believe that they released a software like that and that I installed a software like that on my pc, I admit the vid quality is very nice but the people who designed mp7 should be fired on the spot and the entire player re-designed, the video should be in a child window the playlist and favorites should have a direct list with file folders, the playlist design is stupid to say the least, it sorta reminds me when windows 386 was released god help us. I had no problems playing mp3's but playing vid's mpeg's, asf, avi's was a nightmare. Crash after crash reboot crash reboot freeze reboot, and I keep a clean and updated system I don't know what was causing it to crash but I got fed up with it and pulled it, and I still don't believe that it removed everything I think I'll have to reinstall mp6.4 How can MP6.4 realplayer, and other work so problem free and then this after the time it's been in development, you have to ask yourself what the heck is going on at Microsoft software development !!!

MP7 sucks...it's turning into RealPlayer. I don't want a second Real Player. 6.4 is 100 times better. It's Micro$haft, what do you expect?
