Does IBM still make this Preferred Keyboard? [PIC] Where to buy at?

Does IBM still make the Preferred Keyboard? It's black and very simple- not the one with multi-color hot keys at the top, or squnched up arrow keys at the bottom. Pic below... does anyone still sell these?

Yes they are available, at least here in Sunny SoCal. I've seen them in CompUSA, Office Depot and other places as recently as yesterday. They're $20 and Office Depot has $10 and $15 rebates on them occaisionally.

No kidding. Ok good deal, that's what I needed to know. Thanks! Bump if anyone else knows where I can buy them too (besides eBay- checked there already... and actually, the reason I'm asking is I'm about to buy a box of 10 new ones with IBM scroll mice as well for $75 shipped from a seller there if I can't find them elsewhere!).

I bought one some time ago on eBay for $10. It seemed they were widely available at the time but prices varied considerably. Great keyboard.

Awesome. My best friend has one and loves it as well. I'm a system builder and want to start including this board as standard equipment with all of my system builds (black, high quality, no frills- wanted something like Dell's QuietKey 104) and if they seem to be in shortage, I was gonna start stockpiling! 😀 I just checked the Office Depot and CompUSA sites- they're not on there! I think I might pick these up. 10 boards + mice for 75 bucks shipped a'int bad no matter how you look at it anyway.

Great keyboard as well, rbloedow- if they offered it in OEM packaging in a black color, I'd consider those too. But as a higher-end option. I was looking for a long time for a really nice, basic, black keyboard without all the bells and whistles that most people don't even use anyway. The IBM Preferred keyboard is just what I'm looking for. 🙂
