That meteor last week got me thinking...

If that happens and breaks out your windows, makes a wall collapse, whatever is that considered an act of nature?

Fortunately it does not happen much (about as much as earthquakes here on the east coast which aren't covered either!) but it would suck if we had windows busted out on a 220 year old house!

Act of nature, wind, hail, lightning is covered on our policy. Hurricane, flood, earthquake, terrorism, war is NOT. Does not say anything about rocks from space. :biggrin:

Rock from space is just really really really really really hard and fast hail :)

A meteor would be considered nature wouldn't it? I dont think "nature" stops at the edge of the atmosphere.

What if you bring them to court, demanding proof that it was not actually shot by an alien space craft? Then it's vandalism. :biggrin: That would be an awesome Judge Judy episode right there.

well as long as it didn't actually hit your house, it was wind that broke the windows.
