Does heat kill DVDs?

Hrmm, question: Does heat exposure (~120F) for several hours kill DVDs?

My mail deliverer left my LOTR DVDs out in the sun for several hours today and I don't want to open the wrapping (can't return em then

). Uh what do you guys think? I guess it would be similar to leaving DVDs in the car... anyone have any luck with those DVDs?

Antoneo, if you open the DVD and it's defective, most retailers that I know will exchange it for the same title 🙂

Doh, that's it. No more ATOT for me today... apparently I've had too much 🙂. Exchange works, don't know why I only thought of return. ARG!
