i know that is is true when it came to my last card. I had a tv tuner card that i believe messed up my fresh install of vista. I would rather just have no extra stuff inside my pc when doing install but im up to 4 SATA hard drives and 1 SATA dvd drive. I have no choice but to use the sata card i bought to use my extra hard drive.
Should i take this card out anytime im installing any OS. i kind of do this alot because i like to mess around with linux and plan on tryin leopard.
My card is a via6412 pci card. Its the same card that is used to flash 360 drives. Ive heard its ok for that use but not that great when it comes to actually performing as a SATA card.
Let me know what u think
