whenever i'm listening to a really good song, I tingle. its kinda of inexplicable, but good music can...send shivers down my spine. Good shiver though. am i weird or does this happen to you?

Actually, yes. But for me, it's not just music I like... it's music that has a certain spiritually or emotionally uplifting quality to the words and notes. For example, I LOVE NIN "Head Like a Hole" but it doesn't make me tingle. I think something inside of you resonates to the music, and for everyone it is probably different.

I don't tingle but now I can't stop humming the bassline of "Money" over the past few days. :)

Yeah, when I'm listening through my headphones.

I was blasting Supertramp "School" the other day which I hadn't listened to in years. About a third of the way in after the harmonica lead in and after the first stanza when you hear the kids in the playground, then the lead guitar builds the pitch and right at the height the little girl screams, definately sent major shivers down my spine.

as did i. for me it usually happens during an amazing guitar riff or someone hitting an unforgettable vocal line
