does golden1 give me interest?

I have an "echecking" acct with golden1 and when I look at the desc on their site, it says "no monthly service charges and does not earn dividends"

does dividends = interest?

Doesn't look like it, but checking is earning next to nothing everywhere right now. If you have much cash, it's probably worth shifting most of it to a www.INGDirect.com savings account (2% APY, as high as many 1-year CDs).
