Well, technically God put the apple in the garden of edan and said not to eat it, but did those two fools listen NO. So if you think it like that, deliver us from temptation, so just because its ?Hanging out there? doesn?t mean you should rub one off. But personally I don?t think God gives a crap. But it does say in the bible, basically if you think about it, you?ve done it. If you think about committing adultery you have already committed adultery. So if you have a wife, and you rub one off, and you are thinking about another woman, you?re screwed. If you are single, I guess it doesn?t matter, cause you can commit adultery.

Assuming that there is a "God", I seriously doubt that God, the creator of the universe, really cares whether we masturbate. Sexual hangups and general intolerance is an artifact of the Catholic Church.

Your still missing the point, you just want to flame! The point is God put somthing in the garden that was a sin to eat, HE PUT IT THERE, and told them not to eat it. That is the point, just cause its there doesnt mean you have to do it!
 
15 minutes of fantasy does not spoil a lifetime of reality... it would seem to become a sin when there is no moderation or when the fantasy centers on someone who is married or on an abomination of sorts, then you're covetting someones wife and/or squandering what little bit of virtue that once lived within your mind. we're constantly in between the stages of purification and corruption but both are necessary, if we didnt have all this potential to sin then we could never truly appreciate the value of virtue or freedom for that matter. different religions feel differently about it, and societies also feel differently about it, but ultimately it depends on how YOU feel about it. If you feel it is destructive or harmful then you should reconsider your actions and replace it with something that is constructive and healthy. We are all sinners, so we will all have things to regret, and when we all die we must wonder, how bad was that thing that I did with hope that the good things we did outweigh it. Also remember that God's first role as an eternal being is as a parent. how would your parents feel about it? Is it likely that they did it also? (ew gross nvm) but you get the idea.

Just do more good so you can get away with more bad 😉
