For a week now I keep getting emails - approx 5-10/day from different "people". They have real person names and suffixes like @sun.com, @uswest.net, @yahoo.com. The content of these emails is always nothing but "Click here to meet a married woman in your town". I clicked once and I think it's russian mail order whores or something.

Anyway my point is I have to filter each of these myself because it's impossible to block sender or anything like that. I know people should say switch from hotmail - and believe me I agree that hotmail is utter filth these days and not at all worth being a member of for a new person - but I've had the address for years and simply cannot switch without a monumental hassel.

Is it too much to wish that whoever keeps sending these will burn in hell for eternity? Spam emails of this nature upset me to no end.

I need a web-accessible email address from a major company that I know I can trust to work for years in the future and the only other one I can think of is yahoo. I'm really getting to wit's end and if this keeps up I will indeed have to switch. The greatest regret in my entire life was signing up with hotmail and not yahoo in the first place.

There's no spam on Yahoo? Do they filter it out better? I have 2 hotmail accounts, one gets spam, and other doesn't.

Your greates regret in your life deals with the free webmail providor you chose? ;)

Check out http://www.myrealbox.com. Forward your hotmail for a couple of months if you have to, than remove the forward. I wouldn't even chance that though, I'd just switch to MyRealbox and tell anyone important it switched.

You could just create an email at your own domain.

I've got fifty addresses and no spam yet.

You have Mrs. Skoorb...God doesn't hate you ;)

p.s. why don't you try a phase in program? e.g. set up a yahoo account and then when people email you, reply from your yahoo acct and tell people that you're using that email from now on. Might take a while...but it won't be a sudden "break".

and how is any of this GOD'S Fault??

i can't believe you would use God's name in vain like that. you will burn in hell for all eternity. you, your family, your children, your grandchildren, your dog, your cat will all burn in hell. you will beg for drops of water and i'll walk right on by and not even acknowledge you from my heavenly bliss. blasphemers like you give all canadians a bad name.

You are the DEVIL. Fuzzball is the DEVIL.
