hi. Do you guys know if Gigabyte X38 MOBO support SLI?
or ie there any ASUS X38 MOBO support SLI?..

I like ASUS board..but if it does not support SLI..I have to drop that
otherwise, do you guys have other x38 advice for me?

The only Intel chipset to support SLI is Skulltrail and thats out of the realm for us mere mortals. If you want SLI you are forced to go with an nvidia chipset.

..I do not want the NV chip..so, if I buy a ASUS MOBO which support Crossfire, and I use a NVIDIA card(single), will it lower the perform?

Nope, a single card will be fine and perform the same as if it were in any other platform.

Sure X38 supports SLI. So does P35 now (and x48 for that matter - or any other chipset supporting the slot I guess). It's called a 9800 GX2. No need for SLI when they put two cards on one pcb :)

Who needs 2 cards when you can get one with the company war BS? :) Bring on the 4 gpu's on one card...:)
