Does Frys have good computer systems?

I'm going to Austin tomorrow and my sister wants me to go with her and buy a new computer system. (I don't want to build it and be tech support 2,000 miles away)
There is a Frys there. I've never been in a Frys but I've heard they are cheap. Has anyone ever bought or seen what systems Frys has to offer? Or recommends a certain system they sell. Or is there somewhere else we should go in the Austin area.

Thanks for any help.

If you can find a better deal than this at Fry's, let me know.

My local Fry's has a good selection of computers from the major players (Compaq/HP, Sony, eMachines), but they almost always have huge rebates attached. For less than $600 out the door, the Dell is VERY hard to beat.

Fry's is relatively cheap, but it's not outrageously cheap. If you want a pre-built computer now/today then fry's is a pretty decent place to go. Don't expect the best and especially don't expect much help (though on rare occasion you will find a knowledgable AND helpful sales person, but usually they'll only be one or none of those two characteristics.

They offer a lot of major systems, compaq, hp, etc. and they have a decent selection, but not particularly special.
their laptop selection is a little better, but even then, only comparable to bestbuy etc. At Fry's you really go for cheap electrical components and parts that you can buy without too much hastle and walk out the door with.
"But Enjoy, it's not bad at all.
