does folding@home make use of dual core?

The SMP works fine on X2's. I have 3 of them going, and only the one running linux has ever had a problem with finishing units in time. After 3 failed attempts, I deleted the unit, and it's been good ever since. Not sure why it was getting ones it couldn't finish...
But that is behind me now and all is good.
