Does FEDEX Deliver on Saturdays?

I ordered something from gameve.com on monday, and they said if I did 2day shipping it would be here by friday. however it is not here yet, but according to the tracking it left the ramp in my city, that means its probably heading toward my house or toawrd a closer sorting facility or asomething...

They only deliver on saturday if the package was shipped for Saturday delivery which is something like $10 above the next-day rate.

Occasionally they will do Saturday deliveries for free but only when they are very backed up like around Christmas.

Well I checked fedex.com just out of curiosity to see just how difficult this question was and there, lo and behold on the left side of the page is a great big flashing add that asks the question "Working on the Weekends" and gives some possibilities. Looks like I just worked on the weakend myself. 😀
