Does fedex charge your account when they pick up the package?

I just created a Ground Label and it didn't charge my account

Just wondering if they charge when it is scanned

I dont' want to ship with a POS label

Wouldn't they charge you when you created the label? It's not like it shows up instantly in your account charges.

It charges when it reaches the first facilty. The price you think you are paying is only the estimate and will only be honored for something like up to 10% of the difference in weight.

Ah hmmm when I created they never gave me a estimated rate

I guess the facilities are teh bigger ones with weighing stations?

My account doesn't get charged until well after delivery. They have to include surcharges and such onto the estimate.

Just printing a label means nothing if it never gets scanned.
