here in Texas they have started advertising "Texas editions" of the Ford F-150 and Chevy 1500 pickups. im sure Dodge has one too, just havent seen the ad. basically theyre just jazzed up models with leather seats, better exhaust, alloy wheels, etc. do they do that in other states? i mean, is there a Ford F-150 Delaware Edition with its own song and everything?

also, another thing i've always wondered is that Dairy Queen used to (still does?) call their super-size on their value meals Texas Size. what do they call it in other states? Oklahoma-size just doesnt sound like a great deal to me. no offense to Oklahomans ;)

The Dodge is called the Lone Star edition.

Comes with 20 inch wheels, keyless entry, foglights, limited slip differential, and 3.92 ratio.

Also be aware that trucks and SUVs in TX get an extra $500 discount for some reason I haven't figured out yet. Make sure to say something about it if it's not on the invoice (sometimes is, sometimes isn't).

Edit: This applies to other states as well, but I know that it works for every county in TX, but just some counties in other states. I know all GM trucks/SUVs get this discount. Dunno about other makers. I don't think it's any promotion from GM per se, but state wise.

No reason why not, but somehow I just don't see this or a Dodge Maryland being released any time soon.
