I have seen that advertised at like 10 restaurants lately. What's up with that. If they are so "WORLD FAMOUS" how come I didn't know that and they're in the same town as me!

If I interview a guy from Russia, or a japanese guy, or a Rwanda refugee, will they have heard that Smitty's BBQ has great burgers? I mean, they are WORLD FAMOUS after all.

for the record, you can call me jesus. go right ahead, don't mind at all. you can call me god too if it makes you feel warm and fuzzy.

it's all relative i suppose, in relationship to other burgers, they might be famous. i know a restaurant that forgoes the burger and says it has world famous fries.

Marketing gimick. I think you should sue for false advertising, "...I haven't seen a case this strong against false advertising since I successfuly sued the 'Never Ending Story'" The Simpsons

It sounds better than "local area famous" or "World ignorant" or even "these burgers suck"

another thing, why do so many different regions call themselves "God's Country" If I hear that one more time, ARRGH. If there is a God, who the heck knows what place is his favorite!
