Does Epox 8k7a work with SB Live! cards?

Getting mixed information from cruisin through boards. Do Epox's (with Via 686B south bridge) work stably with Live cards? Have to decide on sound card for new rig. I'm pretty much set to sacrifice price for stability (more expensive Santa Cruz or Hercules) if a lot of peeps have trouble with live card.
 
the 686B/soundblaster issue was fixed in one of the recent via 4in1 drivers (4.29 i think?) and you use the bus master from the 4in1. also, since epox released a bios for the 8kta+ that addressed the issue and the 8k7a came out after it, i would think that the bios for the 8k7a also takes care of that issue. also, i have an 8k7a and sblive mp3+ in my computer and there are no problems.
