Does entropy not work with probability theory?

Haven't visited in HT in a while... hope this isn't too easy for you guys 😛

Let's say that the last lotto draw numbers were 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 (all numbers are betwen 1-60 and done without replacement)

The probability of hitting 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 is the same as it was the previous time... but doesn't entropy suggest that there is a
greater probability of it being something else, thus decreasing the probability of hitting 1 2 3 4 5 6 7?

EDIT

Nevermind... of course the probabilty of it not being 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 is 1 - P(1,2,3,4,5,6,7) which is quite a bit larger 🙂

Man, you ruined my chance to nef over here...

On the serious side, entropy and probability aren't related.

Thanks RossGr! That forum looks great, but it seems really slow. I don't think I have enough time at work to read that thread, but I will bookmark for future reading 🙂 Thanks.

Actually statistical themodynamics basically says that entropy works *because* of statistics. And you answered the rest of your questions so I won't go on.
