Does ebay want to know about fake e-mails asking you to "verify" your info?

There was an ebay vp on my couch about 15 minutes ago. He says the safety people care quite a bit about stuff like this. I forwarded your concern. 😀

Yes. Definitely. For ebay to not do so would seriously jeopardize the legitimacy of its foundations.

My only brush with a con artist was for a $1.00 item years ago. Won an auction from a guy and someone unrelated to the seller requested payment. Amazing.
