Does DVI eliminate ghosting on LCD's?

Just as the title states. :)

Looking to get an LCD monitor soon. I've heard that if you use a DVI connection rather than analog VGA, it will eliminate ghosting. Is this true? If so, does response time still play a factor in whether or not an LCD monitor has ghosting?

Thanks!

no, ghosting is related to the response time of the monitor. dvi or d-sub will work just fine.

I believe DVI helps a lot more with over all image quality and brightness. So even if it does ghost you'll be less likely to complain while slobbering over all the pretty colors.

DVI just allows for a cleaner picture. If your lcd has a very slow response rate you will have a very clear picture blurring all over the place :)
