Having HD content On-Demand is pretty sweet, plus DVR cost extra per month per box for most companies, whereas On-Demand comes standard with Digital cable with Comcast at least.

DVR service for DirecTV and DISH is ~$5 a month. One cost so you could have three DVRs and it would still be only ~$5 a month for the DVR service.

Everytime I price my DirecTV service against Comcast, I'm getting more with my DirecTV service for less money.
