anyone know? i highly doubt this cdrw i have here is a lite-on, but i am just wondering who makes this drive. the sticker on the drive itself says digital research... so i am wondering do they make their own drives? the model number is "drcdrw241040". anyone have good/bad experiences with drives from digital research? also, nero says this drive uses "superlink" technology for buffer protection... who does this technology belong to (ie - i know burnproof belongs to sanyo).

What size is the buffer?
If it's an LG, the buffer should be 8MB ........ me-thinks.
