Yes the mp beta works on vista but it does not support vista at all. Do you think this is the reason why so many people are getting bad performence on crysis mp beta ? Has anyone tried going back to xp to see if it made a difference ?

Go to your Crysis directory, where you have it installed, and click support. Read the Readme file where it starts with OS.

A little birdy told me that some people did in fact try that and got a noticeable increase in performance.

What he's saying is that although the Crysis beta will run on Vista, it doesn't take advantage of any Vista-specific features or enhancements.

There have been updated drivers released for Bioshock and Crysis compatibility... most likely trying to be in time for the 9/25 release of the Crysis SP demo since Crysis is a "The Way It's Meant to Be Played" game.

Any game coming out in the near future, actually, any software coming out in the near future, better be Vista ready. Well, for windows software anyway.

Bioshock has a switch in options for DX10. So Im confident most good recent games like Crysis will do the same. I have yet to install my Vista Home Premium on my PC aas I am waiting for SP1. So I cant compare Vista to XP.
