Does Crucial memory all come with a sticker

That announces to the world that it is from Crucial. The reason that I asked is that the memory that I bought a while ago didn't come with one. I think I got it from nexthardwareshop.com. But I know it's Micron chips since they are all labeled mT. I think the memory is sorta going bad (not so sure but get a few random memory address errors) and I want to RMA it.

FWIW, all of my Crucial has two stickers on it. One with Micron's logo, what type memory, etc. and the other with Crucial's logo and their part number.

Out of the dozens of Crucial modules I have dealt with over the years, they all have stickers with the Crucial logo and module info. It's possible you got a "generic" Micron chip module.

i believe there was "fake" micron being sold before...

maybe you got a stick of it too...
either that or its just a coincidence that theres no sticker

Crucial is just micron direct, they do sell memory chips to other manufactures who put it on their own PCB's.

Actually one of the stickers (the one with Crucial on it) states that removal of sticker voids the warranty. So no sticker = no warranty from crucial.

Your only recourse is to exchange your memory under whatever warranty the seller provides. The memory will not be covered under the Crucial exchange. In fact, it sounds like Micron chips on a third party circuit board; thus, not a true Crucial product.

beside Crucial, you can only find real Micron made module (i'd call it generic Micron memory) from brand name computers. You don't get any warranty from Micron.
Micron made module has Micron sticker, Crucial adds a Crucial sticker on it to distingush it from generic Micron module.
So Crucial memory all come with 2 stickers!
Beware, retailers and online vendors call 3rd party made memory using Micron chips as generic Micron memory or Micron oem too.

My Crucial stick has only one sticker. I ordered it directly from Crucial's website, but it was quite a while ago. My (relatively) new Micron stick has no sticker.
