If I put the Crucial M550 into a computer that supports the ATA password feature in the BIOS, do I need to do anything to enable Class 0 encryption besides setting the ATA password?

On Samsung 840 EVO, I have to use the Samsung utility in Windows to enable Class 0 encryption first. But I'm not seeing an equivalent Crucial utility.

Does your BIOS support TCG Opal 2.0 ? If so, you are good to go with the password.
IIRC, it is always enabled on the unit, so, there is nothing to 'turn on'.
