Does Crimson Skies install trouble free only Windows XP Home?

I have a patched up to date copy of Windows XP Home installed on my computer.

I just got Crimson Skies and the box says designed for Windows 95/98/ME/2000.

Does this game install trouble-free onto Windows XP or do I need some sort of patch?

If so, where would I get it?

There is an active MultiPlayer arena for Crimson Skies on MSN, and a matching player message forum over there. I'll check and see if I copied over a bookmark for that forum (this PC has no games on it other than some card games, for use when a D/L is taking too long). OK, I found it, and also found a notice that MSN was dropping Crimson Skies, and the players were moving to Game Spy when that happens.

The stand-alone game is worth trying, though. I'm surprised that this game didn't garner a larger fan base than it did. Personally, I have been keeping dual boot OS's on gaming PC's, as well as on this Internet Surfing Box, with Windows98se underlying Win2K, so I don't have to worry about XP's on-again, off-again compatability settings.
