Does Coolmax put out 'quality' PSU's?

Meaning which will it last the life of my computer. I have my puters on 24/7. Looking for a SLI PSU that will last about 2 years running 2 HDD's in raid, 2 7800GTX's. A dual core opt plus all the other gadgets. The computer will most certainly be overclocked... how much, well that is upto the cpu.
Main concern is noise polution. I need a quiet one... thats the bottom line. Next concern is quality. The link for the coolmax PSU I am refering to is here. http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=360920 While it does have a high lifetime expaectancy... we all know PSU's come with one, but many do not last.

Low noise, good quality, high power rating...

Seasonic s12 500W. 600W if you really feel the need to throw your money away 😉

I don't know about coolmax, but Seasonic is top notch. A bit of checking shows that the tech sheet for the 600W coolmax is rated for about 35A total on the 12V rails, which is about 3A higher than the 500W seasonic. The only reviews i could find of the coolmax after a brief bit of searching were crap (reviews were crap, the verdicts were good) but that doesn't mean anything.

I would go with a seasonic or another good brand.

Well, I used coolmax years ago in PII system. Thier reliability was far greater then say that if... Enermax. Never heard of Seasonic till you just now mentioned it.

Hey Sin,

The following system worked perfectly fine with the coolmax that i got. I dont know how long it will last but it has good voltages and the system booted without a hitch.
