Just wondering, i have some that have been sitting on the shelf for about 2 years😛 bit of clumping on top😛

whats the shelf life of sugar?

well i also found like a bunch of cans of bud beer. no dating on these babies, atleast deciferable to me😛 i'm guessing minimum age.. 5 years. so could i consider this stuff aged like fine wine? 😉 i'm afraid to touch it hehe🙂

LOL! I have often wondered about that myself, as I usually buy the single-packets by the box. But, I've bought plenty of the "variety packs. " I have some flavors (grape...I hate grape!) that have been in my pantry for about 4 years or so. I refuse to throw them away. I paid for it, dammit, I will use it..someday.

hehe yea atleast you had single packets. i have those big plastic spindle sized containers of coolaid. i think i have some red stuff, and some lemonaid left. all quite old😛 those single packets on the other hand, nice and sealed, those gotta be good.

Once you get really drunk, then drink the old beer. It should taste fine (if you are drunk enough). And if you work it out right, you might not remember a thing😀

had to edit for ambiguity's sake

You are the undisputed king of the " 😛 " I see at least 1 in every post, and most of the time 4 or more.

Nah, the Kool-aid doesnt go bad. Atleast not to my knowledge. When I moved in with my fiance he had 4 yr old kool-aid and Nestea mixes and normally I would have tossed them but I didn't know how old they were until AFTER i drank a quarts worth of it. Tasted fine, and didn't get sick.. 😛

Well I would think the beer would be fine since it was in a can and not exposed to air or light.
Bottled beer gets skunky because light gets into it and starts some chemical reaction.
Try one of the beers, see what happens.

Beer can hold up for a long time. They found some bottles of beer from a norse ship. It was still "beer" i.e. it hadn;t gone bad, I don't remember if they drank it or not. It was an intersting story, and proof why they made beer back then, i.e. alcohol sterilized the horrible water.

coolaid drink mix doenst go bad, it just solidfies into a rock if air and mositure gets into

and beer is just bad when its old

BITTER BEER FACE :frown:

do not drink that beer. bud has bee doing born on dating for a few years. iits at least 3 years old. thats just wrong!

From what I have heard....the only food that does not go bad is honey. Don't know if kool-aid can be classified as a food stuff though.

heh...i was pouring some maple syrup from a plastic jug where you could not see inside of it a couple years back. I had a nice big bowl of oatmeal that i eat maybe once every 5 years, and we hadn't used the maple syrup in a long time. Needless to say, i started pouring it, and soon after saw these green gobs of mold or some form of growth now in my oatmeal. What a waste. Now i have to wait another five years before i can have another bowl.

I've got a can of beer from 1992 in my cupboard. One night in high school, a buddy and I were out partying and wound up crossing paths with the cops. We took to running and wound up stashing our beer behind my parents garage in the woodpile. 3 years later, we were cleaning out the woodpile and I found one of the cans. I've had it sitting around ever since
